Down the Rabbit Hole with Boo - The Planning 📝

After deciding on holding our solemnisation at Raffles House @ Fort Canning Park, there are many things to be planned as it's just venue rental! This means I'll have to find my own vendors and hire my own caterers etc. and that means there'll be lots of coordination to do.
When you book your venue with them, they will assign you a wedding planner! I've been liaising with Deepthi (replaced with Adib as she moved to another location!) and she's been kind enough to send me the venue's fact sheet, rules and also, a list of vendors they've frequently used. They even offer wedding planning services for those who are just not as keen to go through all the hassle.
However, since I love planning and I'm all for planning my own dream wedding, I decided to get my own vendors!
Before we get to that, let's explore a little deeper into what I've been dreaming about...
Alice in Wonderland - Boo's version 💙 I've always loved the idea of having a garden wedding with lots of flowers and greenery! I've also always loved Alice in Wonderland for all its whimsical yet classy aesthetics. Thus, I decided to combined these two themes and based my concept around it! Since I love the color Rose Gold and love how it matches bluish/greyish tones... Here's my colour palette:

Since it's my version of Alice in Wonderland, I've gotten a few inspirations and decided to mix and match all the versions out there! You can totally view my Pinterest board here if you'd like to pin some pins yourself!
Here's my total expenditure: $4095.50

Solemnizer: $108

Note that it doesn't include the cost of our gown and suit as well as ang baos as we've decided to pay for those on our own!
Here's my own bridal expenditure: $636.25
Bridal Gown: $100 (Clearance sale from a bridal shop!)

Am I budget or what??? 😂
Now, I'm gonna list a few of the people/companies I got my stuff from:
1. Hehdeal (www.hehdeal.sg)

For my solemnisation, I chose 55 pieces of Gold Tiffany Chairs as I have 55 guests! I also selected the Curve Artificial Floral Arch as it stands out more and I can even hang stuff on it to make it suit my theme even more!
There are many themes for you to choose from as well! I chose the Garden theme as it best suits what I was going for.
Review: Superb!
Lala from Hehdeal is fast to reply and always very helpful in answering my queries. They were also quick with setting up so you won't have to worry much! They are quite popular though, so do book in advance in case you can't book your ideal arch or theme :)
2. Qool Enviro (Portable Toilet)
As my location was far from any toilets, I had to book a portable toilet for the convenience of my guests - especially my grandma who is in a wheelchair. Thus, my search for a portable toilet begins! I looked through my websites and eventually settled on Qool Enviro as they provided the most affordable option for a handicap-friendly portable toilet at $160.50 per day. They delivered it the night before and ensure that it was locked so that no public will use it (traffic is rather high towards the weekend!)
Review: Superb!
Daren is prompt in his responses and was also quick in answering my queries. (Yes, I've got plenty of questions for everyone!) Delivery and setup was fast and fuss-free and they were able to accommodate my request of a weekend delivery!
3. Flowers - all from Carousell!

So I needed a bouquet and 26 boutonnieres... and within a tight budget! I considered doing fake flower boutonnieres at first but it's just too tedious to do 26 of it when I've got so many other things to settle. Thus, I looked for boutonnieres on Carousell and chanced upon these awesome sellers!
Bouquet from Budget Bride ($50); Boutonnieres from Whisperer ($3 per pin) and Florasia.sg ($5 per pin)
Review: Excellent!
They are all very friendly, efficient and super fuss-free. Definitely much cheaper too! They are also very accommodating with planning on when to deliver the flowers over and Whisperer even provided free delivery since I ordered many boutonnieres from her. Also, I had decided on an all-white roses bouquet as it was the cheapest but Budget Bride was kind enough to throw in a few hydrangeas as I wanted those initially! These ladies are just too kind 😭Will definitely use them again when I need flowers for my banquet!
Last but not least... Here's my actual decor planning:

I wasn't able to be there to decorate the place on my own so I had to be super detailed in writing out the plan for my maid-of-honor to carry it out! Goes to show how much of a control freak I am (HAHAHA)!
If you've got any questions, you can always drop me a message and I tell you more about what I've purchased or rented!
